Hello fellow bronies and followers! 

I am mysticalpha and you may know me from several of my pony fanart. I’d like to take this opportunity to let everyone know the purpose of this blog, what I do, why I do it and what to expect.

The purpose of this blog is to offload my work to other places such as Tumblr and other blogs in an attempt to preserve them for future generations. It may be my primary goal but it’s also equally important to share the love. I am doing the same thing with my webcomic and my older artwork on two other tumblr blogs.

What I do in terms of pony artwork is to create derivative works. Most of what you will see from me will be screenshot recreations and pictures inspired and based on particular parts of the show. I do not cut and paste anything or use anything directly from the show in the pictures. They are all redrawn in my own style and sometimes make minor corrections. 

I do it because it’s my way of expressing my love for ponies. 

Now, I will provide witty answers to some questions that you may have.

Do you take requests?

No, I’ve made that mistake one too many times.

Do you take commissions?

Yes, you may contact me for further information.

How did you get into ponies?

Heard the hype on the net, watched the show, I liked it, I started drawing ponies.

Most of the artworks are just like what I see in the series. What’s new about it?

I use my own style to recreate certain parts of the series. It is a different perspective and it’s how I see ponies. Some of them will also be used to create something new that no one has seen before. It isn’t called PonyDerivative for nothing.

Will there be pony pr0n?

Not likely, but you never know.

Your stuff sucks and you suck, troll, flame, bash, etc.

Stop wasting your time and go somewhere else if you don’t like it. I will not respond to comments that has no value to me. Well, I probably won’t respond to any of it anyway since this blog will be photos only.

You should draw original work

I do draw my own stuff, just not a lot of it because it takes more time to create than the recreations. I will create and post original work too.

Can you make larger versions of the wallpapers?

I could but Tumblr resizes them to 1280px so you’ll have to find them on ponyderivative.com or my deviantArt gallery.
